![]() ![]() It's a "game" currently on Steam built upon Unreal Engine 4 that lets you build out a scene & use close to real-world camera settings. I decided to buy a program called Cine Tracer. As these are only to illustrate a rough proof-of-concept for the camera layout, blocking, and movement I felt comfortable doing this part myself. ![]() I am not a skilled artist, I can barely sketch a stick figure, but I've spent a lot of money so far on PEEL & the concept art for OUTPOST that I can't really afford to dip into my pockets further to pay an artist for weeks to work on storyboarding. It's similar to pre-vis (pre-visualization is a rough 3D render of a scene usually to help plan how it will be filmed, most often in regards to visual effects) but happens at a much earlier stage of the project. For those that may not know what an animatic is, it's basically the 2D storyboards animated or edited into a video to give a sense of pacing. ![]() HOWEVER, I've spent some time this week working on the storyboards & animatics that will be used as part of the pitch process for funding. I've been a little quiet on the updates regarding the next short film Outpost because I've been really busy with work & some freelance projects so I've not had much time to work on the project.
